GPON SFP are optical transceivers (Transmitter cum Receiver) with built-in 1GE PON ONU. They are pluggable into GPON slots of Sharp Vision Optical Line Terminal for interface with Ethernet switches, routers & ONU in the network. GPON SFP is one type of Gigabit Optical Transceiver that is used in the GPON system, which is compliant with ITU-T G. 984.2 standard.
